This site collects only what Saul needs to plan your tattoo.
What the booking form collects
Your name, email, phone number, optional Instagram handle, your tattoo idea, placement, size, budget, preferred days, reference photos, and confirmation that you're 18 or older.
How it's used
Only to review your request, reply to you, and schedule your session. It isn't sold or shared. Reference photos are stored privately. Only Saul and his web developer (only when maintaining the site) can see them. When you send a request, Saul can get a phone alert with your first name, tattoo style and placement, never your photos or contact details.
Phone numbers
Saul may text you about your request and appointment from his own phone. This site doesn't send automated texts, and your number is never used for marketing.
Consent form and health answers
Before your session you sign a consent form and answer a few health questions, as California requires for tattoo studios. The form saves your legal name, date of birth, phone number, health answers, your typed signature (and a drawn one if you add it), your choice about portfolio photos, and the date, IP address and browser you signed from. It's stored privately, only Saul and his web developer (only when maintaining the site) can see it, and it's kept for at least 3 years as those health rules require, even if you ask for the rest of your info to be removed.
Saul's calendar
If Saul adds his session calendar to his phone, his calendar app (for example Apple iCloud or Google Calendar) keeps a copy of each session with the client's first name, the time and the tattoo.
Saved on your device
While you fill out the booking form, your answers are saved in your own browser so you don't lose them. They're cleared when you send the request. Clearing your browser data removes them too.
Spam protection
To stop spam and repeated sign-in attempts, the site counts requests from each IP address for up to an hour. Those counters are deleted within two days.
Where it's stored
Your info is stored securely with the site's hosting and database providers, who don't use it for anything else.
Cookies and tracking
The public site sets no tracking or advertising cookies and loads no third-party analytics. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie for Saul's private admin area.
Do Not Track
This site doesn't track you across other sites, so it works the same whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
How long it's kept
Requests, photos, client records and session history stay until Saul deletes them or you ask him to. Signed consent forms are kept for at least 3 years. A private backup is saved every night: removed info can stay in those backups for up to 30 days, and the consent-form backups are kept for 3 years.
Correcting or removing your info
DM @saul.tatz on Instagram, or reply to any text or email Saul sent you and say what to change or remove. Your request and photos will be removed. A signed consent form is kept for the period the health rules require.
Changes to this page
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date below.
